This conservation-focussed tour will give you a a fantastic insight to the wildlife of the Otago Peninsula. You will journey from Dunedin by coach to a private conservation area where you will have the opportunity to view Hooker’s sea lions, New Zealand fur seals, yellow-eyed penguins, blue penguins and various other sea birds. You will be accompanied by a knowledgeable and passionate guide who will talk about the animals and the environment within which they live. As part of the experience you will also visit the Royal Albatross Centre at Taiaroa Head which gives additional insight in to these magnificent birds as well as other species that nest here. The whole tour takes around six hours.
