Birds Ferry Lodge is a luxury B&B located about 20-minutes south of Westport, just outside the boundary of Paparoa National Park and set amongst its own 33-acre natural oasis. It is an ideal stopping place on your route along the West Coast, offering a relaxing retreat, including an outdoor spa and endless, pure ocean air. The timber-framed building houses two luxurious rooms, one with beautiful views along the Totara Valley and to the mountains and the other across native bush to the ocean. Both rooms have a superking bed, lounge chairs and a sliding door which opens out on to a private deck, also with seating. There is a welcoming guest lounge with sumptuous sofas, a log fire and panoramic views, and a library with books, magazine and games. A gourmet breakfast is created from many home-made items and dinner can also be arranged if you would prefer not to drive anywhere.
