The Heritage is located right in the centre of Hanmer Springs, just a stone’s throw from the hot pools and various shops and restaurants. The main hotel is located in a restored historic lodge and is surrounded by pretty, landscaped gardens. It offers great facilities – an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, petanque court, guest lounge and bar – but retains a low-key air about it, one that matches the general ambience of the town. It has a selection of rooms and villas set in both the main building and amongst the gardens, all with queen or king bed (or two singles), Sky TV, iPod dock and complimentary WiFi. Isobel’s Restaurant offers a Pacific inspired, seasonal menu and meals can be enjoyed in the grand dining room or, in warmer weather, on the outside terrace.
