The Resurgence offers a range of chalets set amidst 50 hectares of native bush, beautifully combining the natural environment with luxury accommodation. The six unique bush chalets are built from native timbers with an open plan bedroom, seating area and kitchenette, with warm, natural décor and a large deck that overlooks nearby Kahurangi National Park. These stand-alone chalets offer complete privacy with nothing but the tuneful birds to keep you company. continental breakfast provisions are included but you can also choose to ‘upgrade’ to a full breakfast and dinner package if you don’t wish to self-cater. The main lodge houses four smaller bedroom suites with a balcony, and a full breakfast and dinner are included. All meals are taken in the lodge dining room, largely created from local produce and matched with local wines. The hosts join the guests each evening and, as strong environmental advocates, enjoy discussing this fabulous area and all there is to do here.
