You start this magical overnight experience by first cruising across picturesque Lake Manapouri before taking a short coach transfer over Wilmott Pass, stopping at the top to enjoy your first, breath-taking, view of Doubtful Sound. You then board the Fiordland Navigator which will take you past some of the fiords most stunning scenery over the next few hours. The boat will anchor in a sheltered inlet where you have the option to join a guided tour of the shoreline either on a small tender or by kayak. Later on, enjoy a delicious buffet dinner before relaxing with your fellow guests or watching the stars come to life on the deck. In the morning a hearty breakfast is served and you continue to explore the fiord as you head back towards Deep Cove. Returning across Lake Manapouri you will arrive back on dry land around midday. Accompanied by expert nature guides the whole trip is an opportunity to learn about the ecology and geology of the fiord. Keep an eye out for dolphins, penguins and seals as you cruise past the spectacular scenery and enjoy the immense peacefulness of the fiord.
