This full-day excursion departs from Te Anau and takes you first by luxury coach along the scenic Milford Road, stopping en route to take photos and stretch your legs. This journey takes around three hours in each direction and the coaches have glass rooves for the best views along the way. Upon reaching the wharf at Milford you commence a two-and-a-quarter-hour cruise that takes you all the way to the Tasman Sea and back. With expert naturalist commentary you will learn all about the ecology and geology of this pristine environment, stop to view waterfalls, and keep an eye out for the resident wildlife along the way. Tea, coffee and ridiculously beautiful views are all complimentary whilst on board!
