If you are a fan of the Lord of the Rings films, or simply want to see some of Queenstown’s magnificent back-country, then this tour is perfect for you. Over the course of four hours you will travel by 4wd vehicle to some of the locations which you may recognise as the Misty Mountains, Gladden Fields, Lotholorian and Isengard as well as stop at some superb viewpoints and learn about the history of the area. There are two half day tours to choose from which go to slightly different locations, or, for the hardcore fan, it’s possible to do both in one day.
