This one-and-a-half-hour tour is a splendid introduction to Stewart Island. You are taken by comfortable coach around Oban and the surrounding bays whilst your guide talks about the history and environment of the island. You will also hear a few local stories and gain an interesting insight in to the unique lifestyle of the residents. Along the way there will be plenty of photo stops and short walks, including to Observation Rock which has a stunning outlook over Paterson Inlet.
