For simple but practical accommodation on Stewart Island you can’t beat the Bay Motel. Located just a block back from the waterfront it is in the perfect location for enjoying the town of Oban and joining the boat based excursions to Ulva Island and further afield. All of the units have a kitchen with fridge, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities, and have a seating area and private balcony overlooking Oban and the Bay. There are guest laundry facilities and a BBQ area and from here’s a five-minute walk to the shops and restaurants of the town.
