Lemon Tree Lodge is a delightful little B&B, set above the town of Kaikoura and with wonderful views of the ocean. There are just six rooms here, each individually decorated and all with indoor seating, mini-fridge and ceiling fan. Four of the rooms are ocean facing and have a balcony or deck area from which to soak up the sea views. The other two rooms open out on to the pretty garden and are more spacious with a living room as well as bedroom – these are ideal for those looking for a romantic hideaway. A continental breakfast can be included in your stay and is delivered to your room so you can enjoy it at your leisure. It’s a short downhill walk to the town centre and waterfront and about a 15-minute walk to the whale watching departure point.
